Hello

Thanks for taking an interest in this project and for taking the time to visit this page. What's here is precious to us, and we hope we have managed to display it in a simple and easy way. Also, this page is meant for you and a very small group of people, so please do not share this further.

As you can see, there is a lot to read. We hope you find the time to digest all this material, and that it has as positive an effect on you as it has had on us.

Ashley Kahn, is an author and music historian who has written this historical essay on Alice, where she came from and where she traveled to. For this piece Ashley spoke with two of her three surviving children, Ravi and Michelle.

Mark 'Frosty' McNeill is the founder of L.A.'s Dublab and a great champion of this music. He did a radio masters thesis on Alice interviewing those around her at the times of these recordings. We found this radio documentary so helpful, we asked to use a transcription for the album, (and on this site, you can also download the original piece).

Surya Botofasina as a child grew up living on the Ashram. When we met him last year, we were spellbound for hours, hearing his wonderful story (and all cried several times). His amazing and unique perspective is as told to Andy Beta here.

There are several people suitable to be interviewed who were with Alice at this time. Your press representative will be able to assist you in contacting them.

When possible (and suitable), the family has asked her name to be listed in the following order: Alice Coltrane Turiyasangitananda.

World Spirituality Classics 1: The Ecstatic Music of Alice Coltrane Turiyasangitananda will be released on May 5, 2017. It will be in the first in a new series of spiritual music that we have been working on the past year, and which we feel is very relevant for now.
